The Situation

Guy Kawasaki has a big following through his books, speaking engagements, investments, and overall strong personal brand. The one thing he needed help with was making sure that his blog was optimized for social media and search traffic.

How we thought about it

Given a lot to work with here, we wanted to make sure that Guy Kawasaki was leveraging his blog as much as possible to increase his Internet presence and continue to foster the community around him. Our goal was to ensure that people could participate in and share his blog content as easily as possible. Another component to the project was to optimize Guy Kawasaki’s blog for search engines so it was getting ranked for as many relevant keywords as possible. Focusing on these two angles would not only increase the engagement on the Guy Kawasaki blog but also strengthen his ability to gain new readers through search.

Results
